Mailbox Retention Periods For Hosted Accounts
The following retention periods are currently in effect for all DNS Texas hosted Exchange mailboxes:
- All mailbox folders, all sub-folders
- No Expiration – items may be stored as long as you are within your plan storage quota.
- Calendar Items
- No Expiration – items may be stored as long as you are within your plan storage quota.
- Tasks, Notes
- No Expiration – items may be stored as long as you are within your plan storage quota.
- Trash/Deleted Items
- 365 Days – any items in the deleted items folder that exceed 365 days will be purged automatically.
- Transport Dumpster
- 365 Days (from deletion date) – any deleted items that are removed from deleted items are held in the transport dumpster for recovery in the event of accidental deletion.
