Q: During installation of Dr. Web I lose my internet access. I can still ping IP addresses, but not by DNS names. Nslookup does not resolve server name and cannot lookup domain names. Spider Guard throws an error stating it is not installed correctly. I cannot request my demo key because of no connectivity.
A: This issue is rare, seen only occasionally. Running the DRWEB-LSP FIX (attached below) may resolve this issue.
S: DNS Texas has seen this issue rarely, it appears to be affecting certain Broadcom based NICs. Be sure you are running the latest network interface card drivers from Broadcom or your computer manufacturer's website. Try uninstalling the product, running the LSP FIX tool (attached below) and re-installing the product.
